PortfolioBuild

Terms of Service

Last updated 6 August 2026

These terms govern your use of PortfolioBuild at portfoliobuild.site. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Who you are contracting with

PortfolioBuild is operated by Ayoub Boukyoud, a sole individual based in Morocco. In these terms “we”, “us” and “our” mean PortfolioBuild; “you” means the account holder.

Paid subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com Market Limited acting as our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller on your invoice and the party your bank will show. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Paddle’s own buyer terms.

2. The service

PortfolioBuild lets you build portfolio websites, optionally by importing a CV, and publish them on a subdomain of portfoliobuild.site or on a domain you control. What each plan includes is described on the pricing and upgrade pages.

We may change, add or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what your paid plan includes, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel.

3. Your account

You must give accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support.portfoliobuild@gmail.com if you believe it has been accessed without your permission.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. The service is not intended for children.

4. Your content

You keep all rights in the text, images, CVs and other material you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, process it to build your site, and serve it publicly when you choose to publish.

You confirm you have the right to use what you upload. Do not publish material that is unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, impersonates another person, or misrepresents a qualification or employment history in order to deceive.

A published portfolio is public by design: anyone with the address can read it, and search engines may index it. Unlisted portfolios are kept out of our sitemap but remain reachable by anyone holding the link.

5. Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Paddle until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay; taxes are calculated and remitted by Paddle based on your location.

You can cancel at any time from the upgrade page, which opens the subscription management page hosted by Paddle. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

If a payment fails, your subscription may be marked past due and paid features become unavailable until payment succeeds. Your content is not deleted because of a failed payment, but portfolios that exceed the free plan’s limits may stop being served publicly.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or to other users’ accounts; do not use it to send spam or host malware; and do not resell it as your own product without our written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

7. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and it is provided without warranties beyond those the law requires.

To the extent the law permits, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, except where that exclusion is not permitted by law.

Keep your own copies of anything important. You are responsible for retaining the original of any CV or image you upload.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes your portfolios from publication. We may retain limited records where we are legally required to, as described in the Privacy Notice.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights we will notify you by email before it applies to you; continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Morocco, and the courts of Morocco have jurisdiction over disputes.

This does not remove protections you have under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, those rights continue to apply and are not affected by this clause.
