How much does PortfolioBuild cost?
PortfolioBuild is free to start. Free includes one fully featured private draft. Entry is $2 per month to publish one portfolio, and Pro is $5 per month to publish up to five. Business pricing is tailored — contact us to discuss it.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan is $0 and needs no credit card. You can use every template, add projects, import a CV and customize one private draft before deciding to publish. Entry is $2 per month and unlocks public sharing and your own domain.
Can I import my CV or résumé?
Yes, and it is usually the fastest way to start. Upload a PDF or Word CV and PortfolioBuild reads your experience, education, skills and projects, then fills the matching sections of your portfolio. You edit anything that needs changing rather than typing it all from scratch.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Entry and Pro. Point your domain at PortfolioBuild and your portfolio is served there over HTTPS, with the certificate issued and renewed automatically. Free drafts stay private until you choose a paid publishing plan.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Everything is edited through controls — type, colour, section order, and the content itself. There is no HTML or CSS to write, and nothing breaks if you have never touched either.
Can I change templates later?
Yes. Your content lives separately from the layout, so switching templates re-flows what you have already written rather than making you enter it again. You can change your mind after publishing.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel any time from the upgrade page, which opens the subscription page hosted by Paddle. Cancelling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Your content is not deleted, though portfolios that go beyond the free plan's limits may stop being served publicly.
